Don't really want to disconnect the airbag or mess about with the wiring, just wanting plug and play where possible!

Stuff which I is wanting

Morning all, Having owned my 406 for 3 months now, and it returning intergalactic miles to a tank and showing general all round workhorse qualities, I want to show it a bit of love. Therefore if anyone has the below, I am after them... Drivers Armrest (Grey Velour) Steering Wheel (Leather preferred,...

Steering Wheel

Evening all!

I have a manky steering wheel I would like to replace. Looking on ebay, a nice leather 407 one is much cheaper than a 406 one (rarity value I guess?). Does anyone know if it would fit? If not, anyone selling a 406 steering wheel?

Cheers

Knock Knock....

Evening all, Got a knock on my 406. Only happens when pulling away in 1st gear, not on any other gear change or speed. I changed the drop links which cured the general rattly bangness, but I cannot find what this knock is! I've had both front wheels off the ground and there is no play anywhere. Can ...

Re: Hello!

Welcome :cheesy: I'm in Leatherhead (Surrey) so really close by, and I drive through Dorking regularly. Let me know if you ever need to use diagnostic kit (I've got PP2000 - the Peugeot dealer diagnostic equipment). Good choice on the Coupe, I'm loving mine 8) See you around Surrey perhaps - keep a...

Re: New circumstance but sticking to what I knew....

Hi dirtydirtydiesel! Thanks for the feedback, still in 2 minds about what direction to go with the head unit etc! I thought they were D8 wheels.. It's not unusual to get an odd spec on a car that was registered to Peugeot management Company Cars, I think they regularly raided the parts bins or swapp...

Have you still got the wheels? If so, which ones are they?

Re: New circumstance but sticking to what I knew....

Small world Doggy! It was Huntingdon Halfords car park where I had my pipe eureka moment! (It was the old Peugeot dealership on St Peters Road I used to work at!). I may well take you up on the offer. It's definitely the lever assembly that has the play, I just don't know if it's excessive (I've hit...

Re: New circumstance but sticking to what I knew....

Thanks Doggy :) Of course when I found the disconnected pipe, it was as a result of taking the doser off to clean the leaky oil. Coincidence? I have no idea! I shall resume swearing tomorrow! Oh and in answer to your previous question, I'm in Cambridge. With regard to my gears, I took the gear lever...
