Re: and today i have mostly been...

I, on the other hand, am perfectly capable of doing sod all, just can't seem to stop feeling guilty if I do. :? Me too, although I seem to have the reputation for being hard-working  One thing that keeps me going is the thought that if I don't do it now I'll have to do it later, when I perhaps...

Re: and today i have mostly been...

I didn't want to post about it before because it seemed to soon after Welly's stolen pussy cat but I'm thinking maybe it'll be ok now: We have 2 new kittens, bringing our feline total u...

Re: Domestic Lighting cable sizing

I've remembered now, the sparkies here crimp ferrules on the wires, then crank 'em down. Yes, one more potential poor connection/fire risk...

Re: Domestic Lighting cable sizing

They do that here, a good fitting screwdriver and give it some. I'm always surprised they don't sheer the screws off. A quick check of screwfix... 1.0mm twin 'n' earth is as low as it goes (at the moment). Lighting always used to be 1.0, I'm not sure where they get this 1.5 malarkey but it's all tha...

Re: MOT failed need part advice

The antirollbar link is plastc (I think) and has a balljoint each end, we can't look up the parts diagrams any more so I can't tell you the proper name for the other link but it controls track (& trace?) and camber. A quick search later... yeah, there are loads of sites listing it as the antirollbar...

Toe arm, track arm, link arm, I dunno what it's called but I wouldn't have said upper ball joint :?

Upper ball joint? There are bushes but no ball joints, unless it's the anti roll bar link, or there's one in the end of the track arm :?

Re: Ebay Etc. Just "Run-In" 406s

Shirley if they've owned it that long and a quick googlage to this here establishment would have that sorted pronto - why mention in it the add? That long? His other stuff makes him look like a scrappy. The fact that he "thinks" it's "possibly" the wiring to the passenger seat probably means either...
