I've recently got my 406 2.1TD Executive and I've had a problem since I got it where by the stereo and clocks lose all power when the ignition is switched off, therefore I had to enter the stereo code every time I started the car. This is not just limited to these items though as the interior lights...

Re: offset for a v6 -getting conflicting answers - can u help?

Theoretically you could get anything with an offset over 15 and then use spacers and longer bolts to reduce the offset. Obviously this isn't ideal, but I'm running Ford fitment rims (ET38ish) with 26mm spacers to clear the Brembo's on the 309. Therefore the wheels are actually running with an offset...

Re: Hi All!

Does that make you a peugeotphile? :cheesy: You know what, I do believe it does! I'm quite looking forward to getting the car actually, although I do have one major question at the moment, and that is how noisy/loud should the 2.1TD engine be? It's just that it seemed a hell of a lot noisier ...

Hi All!

Hello all, new member here. Just bought my first 406, it's a 2.1TD Executive saloon on an R reg. Will be picking it up on Thursday, so just thoguht I'd drop in and say hello as I'm sure I'll be asking lots of 406 related questions in the future. As I said, this is my first 406 but I'm not new to the...
