If it dies off under heavy load, try unplugging the MAF sensor. With the engine off, unplug the grey plug that comes off the sensor just behind the airbox. First up, you need to determine whether you have the Bosch or the Lucas fuel pump. Either can be modified, but it's generally accepted that the Bosch is the better of the 2. So the new daily I have is a 406 saloon, HDi 90. The inner edge of the rear tyres is completely destroyed, like down to the metal and some, can't believe I missed it when I picked the car up, but it came with plenty of fuel so I guess that offsets the cost of a pair of part worns.. :x My first thoug...
