Ah, ok. 2 lambada sensors then I suppose?markw wrote:Never seen one of those before....
It'd be expensive though as there's two pre cats on the V6 J4S engine.

Re: New Mot Rules for 2014
On a side note for V6 owners, do you know how I would get around to de-catting the pre-cats as they have oxy sensors after the cats and the car would throw a sh*t fit if i removed them. They certainly would! Over on the Coupe forum (commonly referred to as the other place on here :supafrisk: :chees...

Confirmed, I have 3 shots of you. Tackling the 2nd hairpin and as you go around it and up the top by the trees...... Will post the photos when I have a decent broadband network... hang on in there, I hope to pay the bill tomorrow  In fairness, not that good pictures due to distance of the shot...

Re: cruise control woes
The other common one is a slow-to-rise clutch pedal - if it happens again try lifting the pedal with your toe / try again. My previous 406 used to do this for no good reason, maybe twice a year but always fixed itself for the next journey. I reckon you've hit the nail on the head there TBH, as I ar...

cruise control woes
The cruise control has died on me :( It was working perfectly, and has just stopped. The only thing I have done is to fit studs and spacers to the rear, and I noticed as I arrived at work that the ends of the studs are just touching something in the rear handbrake drum. But I don't see that being re...

Did anyone happen to get a picture of me? I'd really appreciate a good shot of me going up the hill, I was there in my 306 estate:

Re: 306 With 406 SRI Driveshafts
AFAIK, the SRi uses an ML gearbox, so if I had to guess, I'd buy the GTi6 driveshaft..
But I'm not sure on that
EDIT: I'd also be starting by looking at suspension bushes and engine mounts before looking at driveshaft issues.

It was good to meet you today CJ, many thanks for sorting the map out!
It's surprisingly quick, and also I'm loving all the toys
I'll get a project thread going at some point, there's a few things I want to do, first up is to fit my towbar

Re: Warming up?
Unless the engine is under some load, you risk the oil pressure being too low to lubricate the head. That's why you should literally let it run for 30 seconds or so before moving off gently.
