Hi Loz, thanks for the reply about the blue cap, I have located this and just need some confirmation that this is the actual filler hole before I drain the box off.
I have posted a pic of the cap, located under the airbox filter housing.

Its a 1998 on an 'R' phase 1. The thing that is not confusing me is that there is a blue plastic cap with rounded serations on it that someone has told me to remove and prise out the inner cap, he says this is the filler.
