Re: Rusted water pipe
Ah the infamous bottom rad hose. Right knuckle skinner of a job getting that bar steward out!
Have a look at the con-rad (push fit) connection on the rad. The metal corrodes and expands cracking the union on the rad so worth checking before you take it all apart.

There has to be a flow through the pump, otherwise you get a lovely water hammer sound should all the TRVs close!Bailes1992 wrote:Is there any reason I can't fit a TRV in the bathroom?

Sounds as though the engine is running lean, I'm no engine expert but someone with the knowledge will be along

It'll just be bulbs, you get a bit of light throwing across from the working bulbs which is why it dims out.

Re: Waking up deaf in one ear
You might need your ears syringed Welly, they usually get you to use ear drops for a couple of weeks before syringing to soften up the wax. You'll get a massive gusher of waxy water in the kidney bowl when they do it and the relief is bliss (except everything is very loud!)

I'll second that, especially if it's dark and you don't know the road!KozmoNaut wrote:If you think it's bad in a car, try riding a motorcycle through it
