Between the straight ahead position and quarter turn either left or right the steering is quite stiff and struggles to self centre when driving, go past the quarter turn point and the steering feels normal. Ive checked power steering no loss of fluid a...

Re: air conditioning clutch
Might have to have a rethink on this after seeing the pics on the link given. The compressor I got from the breakers is a Delphi unit with a grey electrical connector, I cant see the compressor on the car very well but it certainly looks like it has a yellow electrical connector which according to t...

Re: Door courtesy light
Very helpful thanks, I think the problem will either be in that connector or the cable area between the door and post where is is continually getting flexed, will see if I can disconnect the plug (got to find it first) then maybe I can get the cables out through the speaker hole and check them.

I have had the door panel off and there is no visible problem on the cable I ca...

Re: More Gremlins
Done it today   Wasn't as daunting as i thought ended up not using crimps, took photos made notes of matching wires and cut the wire from the plug a pair at a time, soldered them together and heat shrink before moving to the next pair. When done taped them all together in two bundles t...
