I was looking at this process to help out a friend about 6 months ago but didn't proceed due to the uncertainty of success. Good to see, someone trying this out

Re: Cruise Retrofit on HDI (90) Siemens 801 Full Mux
Thanks for this info. I will do a test maybe in the weekend with setting it to absent.GingerMagic wrote:Good work.
My clutch switch is set to absent, and my cruise control works fine. If I set it to present then I get a clutch switch fault....
Mines a Bosch but I guess the principal is the same.

Re: Cruise Retrofit on HDI (90) Siemens 801 Full Mux
I vaguely seem to remember the clutch switch showing up in 2 places when I was doing mine (Bosch 110) but only one of them did anything. Pah, you had all the wiring there already, that's almost cheating :frown: (Nicely done sir!) I need to thank you sir for doing the guide of the full mux car! With...

Re: Cruise Retrofit on HDI (90) Siemens 801 Full Mux
Ya, it is well worth the effort to try it out and it get working. Ya, the fault message about the clutch is misleading. It has now appeared again since clearing and doing the test drive but no fault from the ECU etc. Maybe the system will yet function without the clutch input set present on the BSI....

Re: Cruise Retrofit on HDI (90) Siemens 801 Full Mux
So the missing part for the puzzle was indeed the second brake switch. After the switch was fitted to the bracket and adjusted to be set as depressed, cruise control worked on the test drive!! :) :) :) :) So in summary, needed the brake switch, fitting clip and the stalk three settings on pp2000 -> ...

Re: Cruise Retrofit on HDI (90) Siemens 801 Full Mux
Maybe the clutch switch does not work (does not switch). You might want to unplug it and test it with a simple ohm meter. The clutch switch (or any pedal switch) is normally closed (contact). It will open (no contact) when the pedal is pressed. By the way: after the drive, BSI shows - permanent fau...

Re: Cruise Retrofit on HDI (90) Siemens 801 Full Mux
Stupid question from me but... did you fit a clutch switch? There is a very good instruction manual here: http://www.406oc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=20756 And you might look here for some other pics: http://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/406-40/406-cruise-install-brake-fault-code-42729/ The car alre...

Re: Cruise Retrofit on HDI (90) Siemens 801 Full Mux
Hi everyone, Thought I'll post here than open a new topic. I am trying to enable cruise control on my car which is a 2003/09 HDI 90 with the Siemens 801 ECU. I have fitted the stalk and activated in ECU (speed regulation -> present) and in BSI (engine -> clutch contact present & misc -> with cruise ...

I just came across this download link from another thread here. http://www.mrv6.co.uk/software/Diagnostic_software/PP2000.rar I have just got myself the lexia / PP2000 kit with the discs and tried an online guide to install it. Seemed to install fine, but on connection to the car, after the ignition...
