Re: Interior Dials Colour combo?

Was only just looking at these on the bay and came on here to search to see if anyone had used them Look nice with the white dials, but don't think there is anything available for the D8 by all accounts Also seen those aluminium fascia's you can fit, but the rings probably have more "class" about them

What gaskets required?

I have a blowing exhaust round the back of the engine, and have ordered a manifold gasket as thinking of whipping the lot off and replacing all of the gaskets in one swoop. What gaskets would be required apart from the manifold one? Tried searching to no avail. Car is a D8 HDi 110 saloon I'm sure it...

Re: Sun blind fixings

Read on an australian forum whilst searching for answer to this question, that someone simply bought a couple of small hooks from a diy shop and made them fit.
Got nothing to lose, so think i'll give this a try

Sun blind fixings

Trying to get on top of a few jobs my car has got, and one of them is the rear sun blind (saloon) Ever since i've had it, one of the clips has been broken, so today, took the opportunity as was in the stealers to try and purchase the clip to repair it As per usual, i.e. wanted some bleed nipples mon...

rear brake nipples

The bleed nipples in my rear calipers are rusted up and require changing. I know the stealers don't sell them on their own, as you have to buy the caliper as well  I'm sure the local motor factors can sort me out with some, but does anyone know the specs of the bleed nipples save me having to ...

Re: ABS problem after changing wheel bearing

Right, looks like I got it sorted Still had the old hub that was taken off, and had it in the QH box that the new one came in. Old hub has 29 castleations. I took the part number from the QH box - QWB1050 and went to the motor factors I got the replacement from. Luckily my mate was serving, so got h...

Re: ABS problem after changing wheel bearing

Still got the issues with my ABS as originally described in first post, and initially I wanted to solve this problem before sorting out the other wheel bearing which is on it's way out, but this is now what i'm referring to as "the other side" as feels like it could fail anytime. I ain't got the fun...

Re: ABS problem after changing wheel bearing

If the backplate was going rusty, would this have any effect on the ABS????????

Other side desperate now, but struggled for funds, but going to have to take plunge

I take it stealers are prohibitively expensive, so is there any of the aftermarket suppliers more favourable than others??

Re: ABS problem after changing wheel bearing

The Mechanic used to own my car, he's a good mate of mine and know he would of said if the disc was warped.
Plus you'd feel it under braking.
I'm pretty sure the castleations are the same but will double check.

Re: what mpg do you get??

I get 40/41 mpg on my HDi 110

Seems to be over 50 on a long motorway run, but with it's remapped ECU it does get thirsty if I use the lead boot too much :cheesy:

ABS problem after changing wheel bearing

I have a 99 HDI 110 that I had to have some work on for the MOT The garage next door to work changed the nearside horizontal suspension link, put new shoes in for the handbrake, new copper and flexi brake hoses for the nearside rear, and on the same side fitted a rear hub assembly. The rear hub assm...
