D8 Trip wiper stalk, Indicator stalk, Leccy seat switch

Few bits I have left from the car Indicator stalk (front and rear fogs) - bought brand new a couple of years back, so would be a lot better option than 14+yr old ones from a scappy. £14 posted? Trip computer Wiper arm - bought in order to wire up the trip computer in my HDi, but was waiting for the ...

Re: Is the car worth a clutch?

I know I had the same feelings when the thrust bearing was going on my old 406 When I thought it had a DMF I was VERY borderline, but when I found out it had a racing flywheel as standard, I was all in for it. As for the door, i've seen my mate who owns a body shop, twist the top half of doors to ge...

Re: O/S/R Brake caliper advice

As I remember, I think rear calipers are pretty universal, when I looked on service box
I think I had rear calipers off a 1.9 for my 2.0HDi

Re: saloon and coupe leather steering wheels same?

No, I just meant as the diameter was smaller, the rim obscured the view of the symbols on the stalks

Re: saloon and coupe leather steering wheels same?

10mm in diameter i'm led to believe is how much the coupe ones are smaller

I had a coupe one on my D8.5, so no issues

just found it obscured the symbols on the stalks, but I knew what was where, so didn't bother me

Re: Mondingo petrol

Some info off net I think it is a problem with the manufacture of the harness, I work in the automotive design industry, and it looks like the manufacturer of the harness uses a tool to wrap the foam protection around the cables, that tool will have a blade to cut the foam when it covers the part of...
