Re: Moderns pushing out 18 volts

That's about the size of it, they may as well padlock your bonnet shut now. BMW don't think you need a dipstick anymore so you don't get one, instead you get a sensor cos that's better that is..... Most of them seem to have a dipstick behind the wheel....... Ha, spot on! I've been toying with the i...

Job well done that man! The usual failure with these is dry solder joints, your fix is good to know! :)

Re: HEEEEEEELP!!!!!

The D9's are renowned for electrical faults, check under the front carpets for a couple of connectors; these can be prone to corrosion, also check the condition of the earth straps in the engine bay.

I don't think my car will be too happy on it, it's got the Mitsubishi direct injection petrol engine. Bugger!

Re: Welly's Boiler woes

Good result Welly!
We had a Wickes boiler at our last place and I had to replace the diaphragm in the DHW flow switch and the microswitch that triggered the CH. Very satisfying when you can fix them yourself! (No I would never touch the gas side :supafrisk: )

Re: Early Childhood memories of Cars; good and bad

My Dad's old Volvo 240; we used to sit in the boot and have great fun rolling around the car as it went round corners, good times! :cheesy: Also on a similar note my Dad used to make us up a bed in the boot of the car when we were driving back from my Grand parents in Warminster to Surrey :D It's a ...

A plant. Used in herbal medicine and also homeopathy.

Anti-inflammatory, and for reduction of bruising.
Yep, I've only seen it as a homeopathic remedy, my wife used it before and after her last two ops and it really sped up the recovery time.

Re: Umbilical Hernia

All the best Trem, the recovery time after keyhole surgery is pretty speedie, they usually do it as day surgery.
Get yourself some arnica, it sounds a bit hippie but it does help with the healing.
