Re: just took some pics, now its clean
Looks great mate. Polish is fantastic! Don't know why I expected you to have a blue 406 though! Loving the cheeky "HDi Inside" sticker being a bit of a computer nerd myself

Re: Gearboxes
I have wondered about this a bit - would an ML6 be better? The higher top gear would be welcome, but the closer ratios may not suit everything. Re: Gearboxes
Thanks guys! As far as I know the 90 is solid flywheel and the 110 is DMF, no? Yes. one more question though: Is it the same box as the 136 then? Also will it return better MPG than a 136, even if the 136 is decat+defap+remap? Yes, same box - 1.9XUD / HDi 90 = BE3 or BE4 gearbox: 2.1XUD / HDi 110 /...

Gearboxes
Hey guys, just wasn't sure and wanted to ask here before a potential purchase - would a 2.0 HDi 110 S have the longer ratio gearbox?
Many thanks! A quick reply would be appreciated!

Ah, sorry to hear that mate. You need some rest, think things through. Take it from the more experienced here (gizzards!) that prematurely ending your education is definitely not the way to go. As somebody else said previously you owe it to yourself to finish the course otherwise it's like going 10 ...

Can't wait for the pictures. What happened to her? V6s are getting rare nowadays, mate! Maybe in 10 or so years it would be worth a lot more than it is now!

Re: Another bargain!
Just saw a decent looking D8 2.1TD GLX on Gumtree, there: http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/peugeot-406-21-turbo-diesel/79468903 Looks quite decent, I quite like a D8 in White, especially a GLX with nearly all the toys. Would be a great project car, would definitely call it a bargain at ...
