So, an ELM 327 interface will work with 406 ? will i be able to see the measurements of the engine like how much diesel is injecting, air, etc?

Problem solved! It was the clutch switch that wasn't well adjusted! Even better now i don't feel the need to buy PP2000 interface.

My problem may not be related to yours, the workaround starts with getting power from another ignition cable to the other ignition cable that isn't receiving power. You should check if all the ignition contacts/cables are working properly.

With all the PP2000 threads on the go and as the subject is software/hardware might be an idea to have all of them lumped on to one separate forum. I suggest loading the PP2000 software on to a laptop with a virgin Xp or XP-pro OS ie with internet connection available but without any anti-virus or ...

That was enough, well apparently it says it works with 307 and c5, have you checked if you can use other diagnostic tools and if it work?

I did have some faults on the ecu regarding the brake and clutch pedal sensors, but i have cleared them and it still doesn't work. rwb, did you had anything plugged on the changer slot or it wasn't anything connected? maybe the fault is due because of having the option enabled and not having anything connected, but that's a bit strange anyway.
