Re: Key turns in lock but doesnt open the door
Well the remote was posted back very quickly, but because I wasn't in yesterday, I had to collect it from the sorting office today, as it needed signing for, and I'm pleased to say that it now works. :D However, his ad is a little misleading, as it says they replace the case, which is not entirely t...

How long ago was it when you went to Peugeot for a one, and was it plus vat?
I forgot to ring them today, as I was busy.

Re: Key turns in lock but doesnt open the door
Thanks for your help guys, I filled the locks with WD40 last night and tried the key this evening, and they work like new. Next job is to get the remote sorted. I have tried replacing the battery and there is still no response from the car, any suggestions will be appreciated! I've just sent my kna...

Door sill rubber
I need a door sill rubber for my HDi.
If you have all of the clips as well, then bonus, but the rubber must not have any splits or tears in it.
Near to Wakefield if you can, but if not, a price with postage please.
why?

Re: Heater Matrix
I know some people are going to shudder when I say this, but on the wife's Xsara HDi, her matrix started to leak in 2012, and I put a bottle of K Seal into the system, and it hasn't leaked since.

Looks like a nice product.
Well done Waxman for running this. Very generous of you.
I like the idea of it being a Brazilian wax. Wonder if the wife will?

Re: Boot struts
Excellent information guys.
It definitely looks the ones on mine have been removed at some point in it's life, so a new pair will be added to the list of things to purchase/do.
Might have trouble locating a forklift though.......

Re: Stilo 1.9JTD non starter???
My own personal experience of Fiat, (Fix It Again Tomorrow.) or Lancia, (Look, Another Nasty Crappy Italian Automobile) is through their truck arm Iveco, (It Vibrates Everything Comes Off.) and they are full of electronics, and almost as unreliable as French cars. Have you tried bump start/towing it...

Boot struts
Should an HDi saloon's boot lid have struts on, and if it should, does anyone have a pic?
My boot lid comes crashing down, and I can't see any struts attached.

If it were that simple, that's what I'd do.markw wrote:Well, you'd have to define what you call a full stripdown I suppose!
In my book, taking the belt and pinion off is not a full strip down, just bl**dy annoying to get to a poxy seal!
