Re: Eolys and Morlocks

ive tried to come up with many ways round FAP, but there are none, also the BMW and Volvo particulate filters both cost in excess of £1000, and the volvo one bolts right up to the turbo with no downpipe, so couldnt be fitted to anything else So Pug are using FAP to keep initial prices low, that's s...

Re: Retro-Fitting

I notice my D8 has the connectors for the cruise control, sadly I can't find anything on the '9.

I think your best starting point might be to see what wiring/connectors exist in your car already and work from there.

Look on the bright side, your car's lack of goodies means a lot less to go wrong!

Re: Me again...

Someone's posted a part of the Pug EPC on the 'net. I'd reckon Pug would be most upset, imagine making something so useful widely avaialble, tut tut. Thanks for "coming out the closet" there Welton :cheesy: Someone said on here once, umm, where was it? Bluddy search on here's shite... aha! Any chanc...

Me again...

Hi guys, trawling the 'net for 406 info (it's either that or rake more bluddy leaves). I just found the 406Coupe o.c. and joined up, I'm not sure of the legitimacy of doing this as I don't have one and have no intention of having one either! But I recon we should be pals none the less. Anyway, I fou...

Re: 406 noob

And if it's not, you could always use the new clocks as an ornament... :P

Actually, with the fuel gauge waving about and the tachometer dropping to zero it might be an idea to "reseat" (i.e. pull off and stick back on) the connectors to your clocks.

Re: We all love 406's but what do you hate about them?

I never know where to jack the buggers up, Haynes says on the jacking points on the sill but I don't want to mangle the things. I'd get ramps but I'm usually on my own when I'm working on the car and I'm not so sure about using ramps with no-one telling me when to stop... I suppose it would help if ...

Re: Electrical fault?

It's behind the glovebox.

What version of 406 are we dealing with? Aha, V plate 406 HDI. As far as I know, not subject to the usual speedo control box cock-up.
