Diesel Injector Pressure
Have any of you guys come across the recommended fuel pressure for the Injectors of the 1998 406 1.9td? My car is a little down on power and has a lot of smoke at the top end and thought of re pressurizing the injectors which is the easiest thing to do.

Some folk put a bit of automatic transmission fluid in their fuel to give the fuel system a bit of a clean out (only maybe 100ml though). It's loaded with detergents and give the pump and injectors and bit of a birthday

never heared of that before, but everytime i change the fuel filter i fill it up with a cleaner so it goes straight in the system and seams to work fine[just make sure you havnt got the washing out!!].
