Hi there, welcome :cheesy:

Not that we're so hot on autoboxes... Do you mean it's locked in 1st so the lever won't move or the gearbox won't change up into 2nd?

it's not locked in 1st. It's flashing on '1' and 'snow' position on the gear position indicator, when I turn the key before start. But I can start the engine, so I think that the is on 'N' or 'P' position on gearbox. I change the gear stick to 'D' position but the indicator is still flashing and the gear stay in 'N' or 'P' Position in gearbox cause the car can't run.

The standard first thing to try for auto box faults is to check the gearbox oil level. These things are notoriously picky about it

I changed the gear oil yesterday, But it's still flashing. I borrow a PPS to check it say no false found.

did you do a full change or just the box's sump?

i dont know if the pugs slush box is like my old BM's but the sump only held about 60% of the box's oil,
a FULL oil change was a pig of a job.

Are you absolutely sure its at the right level, dont want to question your work but when i did mine, admittedly on a different make of car, it was imperative that the level was absolutely correct, when i first did it i was about half a litre short and it ran like a bag of spanners till i topped it off to the right level although my symptoms where that it would "slip" in reverse and be notchy on power take up when hot

I've had a good look around but I can't find anything about 1st and snow flashing, it's always sport & snow :? I was thinking maybe ecu failure but then I saw you tested it.

All I can think of is the linkages, does what you are doing with the selector actually reach the box? Perhaps it's stuck halfway into drive...

I had this and it was symptomatic of the borg warner valves failing. A dealer will normally charge about 3-500 for changing them.. the valves thmselves are about 90gbp.

Later it turned out not to be the case.... there were faults in the control lines from the GB ECU which caused cascade failures in the box.. meaning 1000gbp was spent on reconditioning....

get those control lines checked ASAP!
