the alternative is 2 busses and 2 trains 2 1/2 hour journey each way so think its worth keeping car on road , just hope its all sorted by next weekend.

Was the timing belt tensioner the HDi type with the simple roller? If so, just tension it like I said, just able to move the tensioner pulley is right with tension on the pump side.
