rapier 90bhp tight/stiff gear change

just noticed mainly today my gear lever(gear change) has become qiute stiff.you can still change gears just a little more effort to do it,whereas before it was a little sloppy,the car has done 142200 miles,clutch pedal moves freely up and down as normal,ive got underneath today and greased up the linkages but to no avail,am i talking a new clutch here and even maybe linkages,any advice is very appreciated.

Presumably you popped the linkages off to grease them, what did the gear stick feel like with no gearbox on the end?

The gears on my d9 are stiff but only in very cold frosty weather ,
it dont do it if the weathers warm,

im going to change the fluids and gear oil and see if that is the cause,

thanks for reply,i didnt pop of the linkage ball but they all swiveled enough far around to fill them with grease

got gears checked out,it was the bush at the bottom of the gear lever,very smooth now

thatnks for the info mate. my car has always had stiffish changes. im gonna get my bushes checked out.
