About £65 from Euro Car Parts, last time I looked
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Google says possibly fuel pressure regulator but I'm still betting on the pump - can you hear it run when you turn the the "ignition" on?

You ca do it yourself in half an hour, if the locking ring comes undone without a battle. If it doesn't, you've lost nowt trying.

Ah, I was thinking the car was dead after having to be recovered by the rac, they usually are if the lift pump goes, but if the car's actually running I don't think it's that after all. Back to the fuel pressure regulator?
