2 Years on, same car, but 288,859 this morning. So should make the 289k my tonight. Only problem now, is the gearbox bearings are goign, awful grating noise first thing. Once moving all is quiet.

I have had mine for 3.5yrs, clocked over the 200k mark last weekend. The highest 'recordable' mileage I have had yet. My mondeo had 202k, but the clockometer stopped working at 198k :)

I expect to get another 25-50k before I change. Serviced every 12k,

Plan now, to upgrade it, mod wise.

I have currently covered just over 94000 and everything has been fine up until this last cold spell the idle valve has just started playing up and i think the top engine mount is on its way out, mind you only covering about 6000 miles a year now been car sharing for the last few years which has saved a fortune over £60 a month.

157400 now had the engine management light on a few times recantley. Changed a few things from my stock cupboard to eliminte instead of the snap on plug in thingy and found out it was the regulator valve on the back of the injector pump. Changed that and bang! hit the key and fired up straight away and the engine management light went out  and it's run good ever since. Mine has the Siemens system on it and it's been remapped to 130 ish good grunt love it. Had it six months now, due for tax at end of march. Do i or dont i? tax it?? if that piggin' light comes on again it's goin' in the parts bin.

42800 genuine miles (bought from a single owner, OAP). Only downside is the supermarket car park scuffs both self-inflicted and from other peoples doors. Will try and get the dents out they are tiny but something to do isn't it!). could probably just take the door cards out and push them out?
