yup it does ithink,

Re: Fuel Tank .
Not sure, but sounds credible. Seem to recall the C5 tank running across the car. I take it they're still going to stand by their original quote of £45 though?
Have a look here:

Certainly looks like it follows the contours of the panel under the seats.

Re: Fuel Tank .
cheers guys.
waue that answers my question. impossible to get to this without removing tank. what he did was remove the panel that the nut was fixed to . this panel is pop rivited on. they removed the rivets and welded a new nut onto it. put the panel back under the fuel tank so i can screw a new bolt in the top .
i now have a D9 bolt holding it down
to make it more secure he put 3 more bolts in the panel he took off. so now there are 3 odd looking bolts under my seat
i know for a fact exhaust has been off because it now sounds hollow like its blowing now
they charged me £50. i said you have to be joking you told me £45 max.
but to be honest i do not care about the cash. my 7 year old son sits there and his safety is pricless
but all in all its cost me a total of £85 to change my seatbelts from grey to black
i'm stopping doing stupid silly jobs now that dont even need doing

Re: Fuel Tank .
Sounds sensible Gaz, but don't get too depressed about the cost. Just remember that the interior only cost £65 to start with - mine cost £250 & I still need to replace the rear seat bottoms with non-rust enhanced ones!
