Re: Cooling Fans
Yes, when you disconnect sensor fans start immediately. Even car key is in your pocket.
Nobody can tell me where the problem is.. I have changed relays and sensor.. No effect.
When i am in a traffic jam, temperature little by little raises up and i have to turn AC on
Sometimes, when the air is taken from the inside the car, not from the outside, fans start without AC..

@Tadunce - is that the only other sensor you've tried, one from the scrap yard?

Re: Cooling Fans
Yes, its very simple.
Take a wrench in your hand, take off a brown wire and spin sensor counterclockwise. Take a new one ant spin it clockwise. Put on brown wire and you are done here

Re: Cooling Fans
And you should disconnect battery, because if you take off brown wire, fans will start immediately

Re: Cooling Fans

Re: Cooling Fans
does any1 know what the blue one is for ?
my fault was definately the brown one. i only touched it with my finger and the fans kicked in.
anyway ive just rang dealers and ordered the blue sensor as well. may as well do both temperature sensors

Re: Cooling Fans
No problem ;)
Can it be, that blue one send information of temperature to your dashboard?
Or is it for different reasons?
