No, its actually a nice easy job changing the pulley (makes a change) The worst bit I found was getting the new auxilliary belt back on, its not too bad just a bit fiddly and quite cramped (didnt want to move the ECU out of the way). I'd recommend a Haynes manual if you haven't already got one, its worth it just for the correct torque figures, let alone the how tos.

Thanks.. will really need to get my hands dirty one day.

How did you manage to get to the belt without moving the ECU?? Impossible on my 2.1TD... Not a hard job to move it out of the way though :)
