Re: over heating 406 exec
Hi Gaz, thanks for the offer. I called the RAC out and he said thermostat ok and checked for airlock that was ok then he took the front grill off checked the fan etc . He said the fault is in the ressistor/relay packs behind the front grill. and to be honest I havnt got a clue. He did get the fan to work by bypassing the relays or something and fan came on but he just put everything back and said I need the relays etc looking at.

Hi Gaz,thanks for the offer, I called out the RAC he checked the thermostat and ok also checked for airlock and thats ok then he checked the fan and it was not workinghe said the fault is in the ressistor/relay packs behind front grill. He did bypass them at one point with a piece of wire and the fan came on but to be honest I dont know what he connected to what. The prob is not fixed need to get done asap
Re: over heating 406 exec
does any-one know if these relays and resistors are expensive and is it an easy job to do or is there a way I could bypass then and use a switch to turn fan on

All sorted now, the prob was the fan was not coming on, one of the relays was knackered changed it and everything seems ok now. Thanks to every-one for the help
