Thanks to a suggestion from Jasper5(?) some time ago I have been looking for renault exhaust rubber bobbins to replace the crappy
original fasteners made by Peugeot. Did not get much help from my Renault dealer spares department. However I found suitable bobbins
on ebay from a supplier called savoyradio. They are currently available and the item reference number is 3207 3397 2440. They do fit
the 6mm holes on my 2.0 HDI 110 bhp 2004 model. They screw in and the cover fits over the top. Then I got some cheap wing-nuts from Toolstation so
you can fasten the cover down without needing a socket.
Hope this info is helpful. My local stealer kindly offered to do the job (probably using the same crappy Pug fasteners) for £50. I managed to
resist his offer.

We really need a name and shame policy on here, that's taking the piss

When I did mine I took the clip things apart and sweated 5mm nuts into them, then reassembled them with epoxy. You can't see any difference now. Apart from all 4 are still there of course

Re: ENGINE BAY COVER MOUNTINGS
£50? Not 50p?
Is that the compulsory £50 for diagnostic work and the first 30 minutes of labour?
I don't see a fault code for "stupid rubber engine cover posts have disappeared" so presumably they'd take your £50 and tell you "computer says nothing is wrong"?

Yeah, some of these stealers take the biscuit don't they. Their answer to surviving the recession is to screw the next customer
