Post by HDITully »

Hi all ive got a 2.2 hdi recently remapped with fap removed from ecu. Ive just been out to my car to nip up shops and its gone from rapid to extremely gutless. if my dpf filter was blocked would it do this? its being drilled out tommorrow just hoping thats the problem. any thoughts guys?

Very likely. At least eliminate that before anything else. Drive it as little as possible and very gently until then.

With the dpf code removed from the ecu it wont make any attempt to clean the FAP, or to warn you anything's wrong. You coud do it a power of no good like this.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
