PP2000 Injector Correction (have a peek)
Does this mean my injectors are completely knackared? I am sure I seen a topic here not long ago saying anything over 1 on the correction isnt good at all... 2.25 FTW!

Looks a bit dodgy.
I seem to be hearing more and more bad things about the injectors on the 16 valve engines.

Hit the Print Screen button then paste it into something like Paint, then save as JPG or something suitable

Sure I read somewhere if you add them all up it should equal around 0, which mine does (about 0.15 off in one direction)...

Anyways, I had another look at mine running & the fact is the injection flow correction setpoints all vary. Mine tended to be around:
ifc1`-1.06
ifc2 +0.59
ifc3 -0.35
ifc3 +0.67
Seemed to improve as it warmed up and if you switch on the HRW. Once it was properly hot, I got:
ifc1`-0.89
ifc2 +0.98
ifc3 -0.75
ifc3 +0.35
I also noticed your injected flow setpoint was 11mm3/stroke, whereas mine was 8 or 9. Was your engine a bit cold?
Have you done a leak-off test Rich?

Hmm you should be able to open up paint from the start menu, go to pp2k and hit Print Screen, then go back to paint and Edit and Paste.
Perhaps something more subtle is going on..

I think it was about 70C coolant and oil was half way through the blue bit... it had been for a run but had been sitting about 45 mins before I started playing with PP2000.
I haven't done a leak off, might try it one day if the sun ever comes back out... need to deal with my cars indoor swimming pool at some point too
as for screen capture, if you press "Print Screen" it should put an imagine of your screen into clipboard, so you can paste it into paint as jonsowman said. That said if your laptop has a weird keyboard you might need to press FN + something to do a print screen....

Injector 1 correction value is a bit too high really but nothing "knakered". My injectors had 3 or 4 values max. Also try while revving the engine if the value goes higher.
The other 3 injectors are perfectly fine. above 1.5 or 2 it means the injector is a bit dirty (nothing worrying), above 3 or 4 it means it has to be cleaned asap.
There are various views from injectors specialists about this but generally 1.5 corrections are considered "not like-new but could be much much worse". Also positive corrections are generally worse than negative ones, the reason being the obvious fact that if a positive correction is needed the injector may be slowly blocking the nozzle holes.

Quick calculation time. "Injected flow set point" is how much diesel the ECU wants to inject into each cylinder per stroke. If I understand correctly, a stroke covers a combustion cycle, which is once for every 2 rotations of the crankshaft.
If you idle at 750rpm, that's 325 strokes times 4 cylinders, which is 1500 strokes. At 11mm3/stroke that's 16,500mm3 per minute or as close as makes no difference one litre per hour.
That's £1.50 it costs you to idle for an hour in a HDi. Four one-minute waits at traffic lights every weekday, and you're wasting £2 every month before you even think about the much greater fuel cost of pulling away again...
Anyhow, a correction of 2.24 mm3 against an 11mm3 target means the injector's 20% off the mark at idle - not a trivial amount! What reasonable tolerances are however, I have no idea.

I don't think your injectors are too bad - on reflection, mine looked worse, but the dead give-aways were idling speed hunting by about +/- 50 RPM and much higher air flow, whichg actually reduced as you increased the speed. yeah my air flow appears to reduce when i blip the throttle.. weird.. ill perhapes put some injector cleaner in sometime in the near future
