Back on the forum now my internet has been sorted after a month of problems - dont ask.
I purchased a PP2000 and eventually got it to work and have removed the errors from my car 2.2 HDi.
However when I connect the Galletto 1260 the light comes on on the cable and I go through everything but it does not identify my ECU and will not download the map.
Any ideas or a guide on how to use the Galletto would be appreciated as its doing my head in.

Re: Galletto problem
Welcome to the club... but mine is a 2.0 hdi from 2000
I have my (chinese ) galletto 1260 on the drawer because i was only able to read the ecu 2 times, then i couldn't read my ecu anymore, not even the new ecu i had placed on the car..and so i'm not risking into upload anything to the car and getting stuck in the middle of the process ...
Yes the galletto is working fine because tryed on my friend's 406 which have the same ecu and same year ( but from different month ) and on he's the cable works every time.
I'm down to the poor quality they have and so that's why they don't work too well with different types of looms ... but i'm still looking into find why this happens because i'm not buying it ...
