2000 hdi 2.0 fuel problem

Post by pck786 »

Sorry if this is a double post. my first post got approved but its not showing after i added some further comments.

First of all a hello to everyone in the forum.

The car does not start and had a mechanic look at it and he came to the conclusion that the fuel pressure pump was not working. He got to this by trying to bleed the fuel injectors and no fuel was coming out. I replaced this but still same problem. I have also replaced the fuel filter, the crank shaft and cam shaft sensors. If you use a starting spray i think on the carbonator the car seems to start but the minute you stop car turns off. Any ideas guys
