What makes you think it's a knackered flywheel?
If it's juddery pulling away it could be fubard mounts, worth a look before dipping in your wallet, don't think solid flywheel failure is particularly common.

thanks for all the replies, a few days after buying the car it seemed like the starter motor was goosed so swapped if for a second hand replacement and it was the same... 6 second hand ones later and it was no good.. it would start by bumping or putting it in 1st with ignition on and rocking it.
Then i got fed up after a day or two doing that so bought a brand new starter motor fitted that and its still the same but will only bump start now.

As if the teeth on the flywheel have gone and the starter has nothing to grab on to. Once its running its fine abit of a judder when setting off and the clutch is very noisey so whilst doing the fly wheel im going to do a full clutch kit on it.

So i will be needing a flywheel if thats a solid one of DM and also a full clutch kit

Cheers

Ibought a car from auction like that once,
i went through 10 starter motors and in the end i looked at the fly wheel

someone had had rammed a chizzel or summat in there to lock the engine up and broke a tooth off it,
