Hi All
I've recently acquired an inlet manifold and was wondering if there are any tricks or dodges for cleaning them out or is it just a case of paint brush and plenty of gunk
Is it plastic? I don't suppose you want to set light to it really... Know anyone with a hot pressure washer? Otherwise it's out with the Gunk and a toothbrush time
Hi Steve

hi norrie499
Last Time I did mine I immersed the manifold in a 50/50 diesel/petrol mix for 10 minutes and then just used one of those brushes for cleaning out a baby's bottle. Damn thing was sparkling after a light scrubbing
I've been told by a mechanic buddy of mine that oven cleaner is very good but to be honest, I cant imagine a way of doing it without working up a mess.
