Which gasket?

Post by Captain Jack »

Hi,

When I removed my EGR, I blanked the intake pipe and used "instant gasket" type thing to seal it. Now, the intake pipe from the intercooler is leaking oil from it. I want to take it apart again, clean it with brake cleaner spray to degrease it and then seal it... but with what? Instant gasket stuff didn't seem to work...

Is that #3 on this? http://peugeot406coupe.nl/catalogus/D9G/1/14N18A.HTM

Dammit, Service Box is on its usual Sunday evening break  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-PEUGE ... 0755446729

We used to use the back cover from a phone book for that sort of thing but I don't think they exist any more...
