406 2.0 petrol idle problems

I have a 406 break 1999 year model with 2.0 130hk engine. The thing is the following:

When you start up the car it MIGHT idle for a while until the revs dip until it dies. If you try to start it again it might do the same or simply just start for a sec not running at all even if you give throttle. If you try again it might go as before or you might get it to run really sloppy when pumping the gas pedal. Most of the time it will run fine except it doesn't idle and if it does only for a while.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to start checking? It doesn't show any warning lights of any kind.
