Hi all.
I have the 406 1.8 petrol, 2001,
and I cannot find the fuel filter to change it.
the Haynes manual shows where is should be, and theres a gap there, but the pipes don't go anywhere near it.
I've traced the pipes all the way to the bottom of the engine bay and lose it there, and cannot see anything that resembles the fuel filter in the bay.
engine variant is 8B6FZ
anyone know where it is?
many thanks

Hi there, welcome
Some don't, so if you can't find it don't take your car completely to bits looking

Using the vin from another (8B - 406 saloon) 6FZ (build code 09158 - 12/2001) in the parts catalogue it brings up a diagram similar to this: http://peugeot406coupe.nl/catalogus/D9G/1/15E11A.HTM However there is no part number for the filter, which usually means it ain't got onencc1709 wrote:engine variant is 6FZ

oh... we that sort of messes me over as that was the last idea to get rid of the antipollution error
ive had the error for over a year. the local garage put a fault finder on it and it came back clear :S
so ive been slowly changing anything that comes up as a possible issue.
guess I need to make a separate post for it
