New aux tensioner still bouncing

Hi alll

I recently replaced crankshaft pulley idle pulley and tensioner for the aux belt and for a short while tensioner stopped bouncing but its started again could it be something else like the a/c compressor or clutch pulley on the alternator causing it.

What engine is it?

My old D8 had a choice of 2 belts depending on which AC unit was fitted, it threw off and ate 2 belts before I found out that little gem of information!

A 406 is a heavy car in slow moving traffic with no power steering

Its a 2.0 hdi 90 but also made that noise before i changed everything :-(
