198k on my 2.1 td ,original engine ( family owned since 10k miles ) , no major work ever been done and still pulls upto an indicated 120mph ( on a private part of the A470 of course ) and doesnt use any oil or water and i change the oil every 15k miles. my old 405 1.9 td had 290k on the clock when it stopped working lol
I really do enjoy reading these stories about highest mileage cars. It,s quite incredible what some of these 406,s achieve as regards longevity. My last 1.9TD had 271,000 on it before being passed on & it,s still going around as regular transport everyday. My current 2.1TD only 111,000 currently so plenty of life there. Keep the the stories coming lads, it,s great to hear what they achieve & gives reassurance as to how bloody good a car they are......
