Ignore my commets about mot's and diesels, it appears only a smoke test is done, a lot of what I heard was supposed to be happening didn't happen.

That said my 200 map is quite smokey, but there is still one maintenance job I would like to do to my car which may help it.

To be honest, the decision to remove the tank was aided by the fact that the bracket was rusted through and would only have fallen off on the motorway at 70mph and taken out my tyre.

We gave the old 2.1 a good Italian tune up (redlining up through 1st, 2nd and 3rd) on the day before its MOT, and it passed its smoke test 9 years on the trot :)

By-the-bye: I was reading about additive tanks on the C-Crosser (cross-dresser) forum t'other day, apparently they're easy to rip off when off-roading and yes, eolys/cerine/pig's piss is very corrosive.

There are no tell tale signs my car has been tampered with from underneath, apart from new bolts between FAP and CAT and maybe some changes in the engine bay but I guess a non-Peugeot garage wouldn't notice...

No harm done and peace of mind and peace of wallet. 8)
I'm liking that idea very much, there but stealthy...

What is the fuel additive actually called, any ideas?

Eolys fluid, PAF fluid or Cerene, though I believe Cerene is actually the name of the company that developed it.

I think different companies have different names for it, the trucks use ' addblue c but I believe it is a man-made development based on actual pigs wee.
