Hi guys,
At the scrappys on Saturday, got a great score! I got;
-Intercooler
-90 degree inlet manifold ally bent pipe
-Tubing from top of intercooler to 90 degree bend
-Plastic tubing from rear of 90 degree bend to top of turbo
-Plastic pipe that connects to rubber tube on the turbo
-Short rubber tube from plastic pipe to turbo (about 4/5" long)
Now, I know i'm missing two parts (maybe more?) ;
-S-Shaped hose from bottom pipe from plastic pipe to bottom of intercooler (I could be wrong on locations)
-Butterfly valve/110 airbox parts (some bugger had taken the s-bend pipe and airbox out previously!)
I got all of this for the princely sum of £20, and my project is on a budget, as i'm aiming for more reliability once i get a re-map (Steve @ HDi Tuning). Any tips, tricks or handy info would be muchly appreciated, as would a diagram of a 110's complete setup. I know there was a post on here a while back, but the images weren't displaying.
Cheers in advance, guys!

What butterfly valve? Do you mean the air dozer? They don't all have them so you don't need one. Anyway, sounds like they're more trouble than they're.. hold on, they're worthless anyway.
I'm pretty sure the airbox, MAF etc. are the same.

Right, was just referring to the post with "what you need" and a list, did think I wouldn't need one, seeing as mine is a lowly 2000 plate Rapier anyways - So intercooler, piped up correctly and a remap should be me good to go? Was considering making the s bend pipe myself, wasn't sure if this was a good idea

Cheers, Steve!

There are a few bottom pipes on eBay, a 406 and a Citroen C5 are the same as long as you find a Hdi110.

You got a bloody bargain there, intercoolers alone are £30 or so..
I don't think you need an air-dozer as you only have one pipe from intercooler to inlet manifold.

Oh, thats good! I was assuming that it was pretty much an 'S' shape, so this pipe would be just what I need? I also thought i'd need a HDi110 air filter box, would I be wrong in assuming this?
Cheers, Mr. Magic!

Re: HDi90 Conversion to 110 Intercooler - More Questions!
110's have MAP sensors and electronic boost control, 90's don't. Does this matter?
Guess it depends on whether you're thinking to fit a 110 ecu/map file or a custom remap. Have you considered this and do you have a plan?

Don't think I have the savvy to fit an MAP sensor, or electronic boost control! I'm more just doing it so that it can handle a bit more than 120 horsepower (hopefully!), and run a bit cooler - hopefully safer.. I am kind of just blundering my way through this, learning as I go. Would it be worthwhile, as I am definately gearing up for a remap, the re-mapped file being the only thing I need once i've finished piecing together my intercooler work?

Cheers!

Hi Benny, I have my internet back now.
Can you post up your vin so I can put a diagram of the turbo piping up for you? My 2.2Hdi has different plumbing to the 90 and the 110.
Kelv.
