It's a 90bhp 406 with a short ratio'd gearbox. Best economy is between 50-70mph. Anything after 70 and the economy nosedives.
Ontop of that you have a car full?
I don't think you've done bad at all!

Now here's a thing:
After reporting the car was much improved after it's long distance thrash, it only took 1 week of the missus driving to put it back how it was, kangarooing and generally being a pain in the arse.
So, in preparation for doing The Wynns EGR3 treatment I thought I had best remove the EGR blanking plate,
AND,
kangarooing is much improved but not eliminated, however the hesitance is back. So with the EGR back in circuit the car is smoother but now doesn't go when you ask it to, this is throttle position not RPM related. Not sure which is more irritating.
I will make another report after the Wynns treatment.

Going back to juddering / kangarooing 2.0 90's, I read this some time back on another forum:
"if siemens , leave car switched off for 10 mins with key out , raise bonnet , remove all the injector plugs and the red fuel temp connector towards the right hand side of the rail , then plug em back in , see if this helps your hesitation / missing"
At the time I dismissed it as total arse gravy, but stumbled on the thread again yesterday and tried it this morning and to my utter astonishment it seems to have worked, in part at least.
So what's going on here, what is being reset/dumped by disconnecting injectors & fuel rail sensors?
