I've been having a fun weekend. Friday evening we get a call from my daughter who hasn't slept in 3 days cos of sickly baby......
So Saturday morning, it's granny to the rescue! ('cept she doesn't drive), so can I drop her at Hemel Hemstead?
This evening, the wife goes down with the same bug, so can I pick her up?
Anyway, just back from a further attempt to wear my own set of ruts in the M1 and I can't help but marvel at how good these cars are.
155 miles this evening at an average of 61 MPH / 46.4 mpg, (despite the whole of Led Zep's Mothership on the way down). :supafrisk:
:cheesy:
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Creepy creepy... seriously old thread i know- but i was just looking back through my old posts (sad thing to do on a Saturday night yes) and noticed that the date on the pic posted by GingerMagic was the 8th Nov.... which is today's date!!
BTW- i now run the car on the 180 map defapped and the MPG averages around 42 (and I have to drive 8 lane miles before i hit a real road where i live :) )
2003 Peugeot 406 SE Estate 2.2HDi De-fapped and re-mapped
1988 Peugeot 205 GR 1.4 petrol, smells right.
