c5 hdi and 406 hdi same parts?

Post by joekellner »

Hi. I have a 2003 406 hdi 90 as my daily which i deliver my parcels in. My mum has left me her 2001 citroen c5 hdi 110. My question is what parts are interchangeable? My indicator stick does the annoying indicate bouncy thing lol could these be a direct swap? what about the intercooler parts? mine doesnt come with an intercooler so could possibly use this? The parts that i cant use will get taken off and the car will be scrapped. Thanks.

Probably not many that are very interesting :(

Indicators: if the stalks look the same then probably (unless you have ESP and the Cit doesn't), but it's possible that they're different because you definitely have a COM2000 (these can now be repaired) and a 2001 citroen probably has the pre-mux stalks.

The 2.0 HDi 90 doesn't have an intercooler. In 2003 it will be a Siemens system, but the HDi 110 is a Bosch system, so the injectors and fuel system are different.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.
