Went out to it today 'and there's a small puddle of oil on the garage floor..
Looks like just 'below the crank pulley..
And the exhaust as developed a blow..
Ishouid of just gone to the 'bookies instead of buying this car..
Must be something to do with the oil that was around the cam covers...maybe the cam oil seals or cam cover leaking.
Hi yes the oil you cleaned off on the cam covers is back again..
It did stay clean for a while.. you did a good job of cleaning it..what did you use..
Sump leaking now?
Never ending
I always use brake cleaner to clean off oil.

But sump is newish.. I guess they've not sealed it correctly so it needs off and new gasket goo on
R.t.v or what ever..
Once sump I's sorted hopefully that will be it..

Another boring question,
anyone know anything about the VVT pulley on these Kfu engines?
been looking on the www. to see if they need Replacing/Expiry date, but nothing found,
Timing belt needs changing..the dreaded noise from the tensioner as arrived ..I sort of expected it,
@jasper..cheeky question- any chance you can do this job?
found this guide (page 103),, its citroen based but it covers the kfu lump..
