i started the engine, took the filler cap off, unscrewed the 2 bleed caps.
first the highest bleed cap by the bulkhead squirted coolant out freely, but the lower screw on the thermostat wasnt squirting nicely it was just splirting what looked like air and water, i left the engine on til it got to normal temp and the lower screw continued to just splirt water and bubbles and never squirted out continuously.
in the end i just turned the engine off and put the caps back on.
is this ok now? strange how the higher bleed point was squirting freely and the lower one wasnt.
Can someone confirm ive bled the air out my cooling system..

Try pouring the coolant in without the engine running, if you can get a stream of air free coolant without the engine running could be you head gasket is leaking.
