Haven't been around for a while, but I will have a look at the bottom enginen mounting. Thanks for the hint.
I usually drill a hole in a driveshaft nut and split it with a chisel if it refuses to move. These nuts aren't very expensive.

I had the lower engine mounting renewed. Though it's become better thad didn't solve the problem. Guess I'll have to look out for another gearbox...

First thing to try with a gear jumping out is to strengthen the detent plunger spring that helps hold the ball bearing that slots into the selector rail tight....usually you place something behind the spring to make it stronger or pull out the spring....don't lose the ball bearing...and stretch it.
The detent plungers are held in by small plugs that screw into the side of the gearbox where the selectors are....usually they have 12 to 14mm spanner size heads.
