2.2 HDi additive reset in PP2K

Post by rwb »

How?
Can't find it anywhere!

"PEF Maintenance" looked promising but it wouldn't accept the vehicle mileage.

Anyone know how to do it?

Never tried it on a 407, sorry.
Had a go at a 406 about 5 years ago, but couldn't get it to complete the sequence after you add fuel following the counter reset, (or something like that).
'Ammer an' chisel seem more intuitive somehow.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Well in that case, definitely go for the 'ammer an' chisel - you know it makes sense. :supafrisk:

I will try to have a look at the weekend.

Every diagnostic I have done on a 406 regarding the additive, has not let me into the ECU - probably with good reason to be honest....
2003 2.2hdi estate - mine
1998 Volvo 940 auto estate - also mine
2019 Citroen C3 something - the wife's
PP2000 user, can help with faults / diagnostics in the Bournemouth area.

Was that after it was mapped out?

I've done on my 307 iirc you had to access the additive ecu and reset it to 0

Sorry, I didn't get to it....

I think Ollie's right, but I can't remember for certain.

I can't even go back and check. Since I've had mine dealt with it acknowledges the presence of the ecu but it's there's nothing to access.
I do remember that it was contrary to what you expected to see, so when the additive tank was full it had to be reset to 0
