So is it a single branch off the vac pump? If so then just swap them over - single on the servo and the T piece on the pump

Tila, one thing I'd like to bring to your attention -- the previous owner must have played around with the standard vacuum layout for a reason. Perhaps the turbo EV was not working correctly, I would suggest when you get time swapping it over with one of the other (now unused) ones to check it is working properly. That way you know for sure if it's functioning as intended.

It happens on my car too, I believe it's the rush of air entering the vacuum system to equalise pressure on shutdown, but don't quote me on that! You will not hear anything really when running 12V through the EV as they work on pulse-width modulation (this is what the duty cycle refers to in PP2000). Essentially the amount of vacuum it lets through is dictated by how long the 12v pulses are that are sent through the EV, you won't be able to replicate this with a simple 12V supply without some more specialist equipment.
This is how it works:
With regards to the brakes, I'm not sure what's happening there. As long as there is always enough assistance under braking I wouldn't be concerned about it -- do keep an eye on it though.
Best Regards,
Ben.
