ADVICE ON CORRECT COOLANT??

Post by tonyredz »

Hello,
can anyone please advise me what is the correct coolant for a 2003 406 Hdi 90hp? The owner's manual states: Glysantin G33 or Revkogel 2000. What is that in layman's terms? Is red coolant correct? Red seems to be what OPIE oils recommend? Though it looks to be a green colour that i currently have in it. Can anyone advise the correct colour coolant for this car? Thanks in advance for any replies, cheers

Short answer, it's the red stuff.
OAT, Organic Acid Technology, (which is normally red), but the OE Pug version is blue, naturellement.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
