Egr and servo solenoids XUD9TE

Hi guys noticed that these two solenoids have an insert on each , wondering if these two solenoids connect with a vacuum hose to each another ? Or there intake holes for air ?

Hi there Service Box is finally back up and I've had a look for that solenoid:


Looks right to me, 2 oil(?) pipes, electrical connection, 2 rubber mountings, bracket.

I can't make anything of the second picture, it appears to be mostly your arm. At least, I hope it's your arm

I've no idea if that helps, if not it might help us if you mark your pictures indicating the offending parts.
